Comprehensive Teacher Training Program

Learn to teach up to advanced-level

clients on the full suite of Pilates equipment.

The BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Program gives students in-depth knowledge of Pilates theory, exercises, and skills to teach up to advanced-level clients on the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, F2 Spine Corrector, F2 Arm Chair, Ped-a-Pul, Mat, and other auxiliary apparatus.

Graduates of the Comprehensive Program are well equipped for a successful, enduring career in the Pilates industry.

Obtaining your certification through this program will mean that you are one of the best-qualified instructors not just in Greece, but anywhere around the world. Be prepared to work hard, learn a great amount, and enjoy the process.

What makes the BASI courses different?

The BASI Comprehensive Teachers Training course is the most rigorous in the business, and a student needs to pass all of it in order to be accredited as a teacher by BASI. There are no half-measures. As the term comprehensive implies, this course is NOT splintered into individual apparatus and many levels, as some programs are; it is about the whole. BASI believes that a teacher needs to be familiar with it all.

The BASI Pilates
Comprehensive Teacher
Training Program consists
of 12 modules.

Upon completion of all 12 modules, students are eligible to pursue a Comprehensive Pilates teaching certificate

Program Completion

To receive a BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teaching Certificate, students must complete the following graduation requirements:

The final practical exam and final teaching evaluation are conducted during the next program run at your Host Studio location, or during any program held at any Host Studio location worldwide.

In the USA the final Practical exam and final Teaching Evaluation are conducted at a Centralized Testing location. In Greece, the final practical exam and teaching evaluation are held every September unless otherwise noted.

Additional testing fees apply (See Tuition and Fees for more information).

Students should aim to complete all requirements within one year of the last module of their Mat Program. However, we are happy to give an extension, if needed. If the requirements are not completed within three years, we may require the student to repeat 50% of the program prior to receiving a BASI Pilates Teaching Certificate.

Refund Policy

BASI offers limited refunds for students who cancel prior to or during the Program.

A 500 € deposit is required to review your application and hold your seat.

Cancelations prior to thirty days prior to the start of the first module  .

Refund of all monies paid minus the Initial Deposit.

We shall not be obligated to refund any monies if you cancel at any time following commencement of the first module of any program (whether or not you attend that or any other module).

We reserve the right to cancel any program. If a program is cancelled and a replacement or an on-line alternative course is not offered, we will refund all monies paid by you to us.
