ABHAYA, inspired by the Hindu and Buddhist Mudra that signifies ΄NO FEAR΄, is a yogic path that seeks to align all parts of our life with the heart, our inner truth, the divine essence in all beings. Aligning with the hihest power and deepest truth in us makes us fearless. Thus we embody ABHAYA MUDRA!

Created by Rusty Wells, one of America’s most beloved modern yogis, this is a strong flow of asanas that links movement with breath. The continuous flow builds internal heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, and concentration. Chanting and music create a celebratory mood that aims in uplifting our spirit and awaken the heart.

Developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, this dynamic practice incorporates rigorous breath and a set sequence of postures that stretch the body in all directions. The combination of breath and postures creates heat, which helps to stretch and strengthen the muscles, while cleansing the organs and ridding the system of toxins. A highly disciplined and rigorous workout.

Yoga teachers and serious practitioners meet for an early morning practice that includes asana, pranayama, and meditation. With the support of fellow yogis, we seek to deepen our practice and build a kula—a friendly yogic community.

This class aims at helping expectant mothers increase their energy and stamina, build their strength and flexibility, and develop a level of spiritual and emotional calmness in preparation for labor and birth. The exercises are gentle and energizing, in a safe and nurturing environment.

Yoga for kids is fun, exciting, and creative. Trying out different exercises like cobra, airplane, eagle, and camel, children discover ways to stretch the body, concentrate, and find balance, strength, and breath awareness. They also develop an inner power and self-confidence that will help them connect with their inner joy and equilibrium for the rest of their lives.

"Good alignment is good therapy," as John Friend, the master teacher of Yoga therapy proclaims. With great attention to correctly realigning muscles and joints, students learn to rehabilitate their muscular/skeletal systems and overcome trauma, pain, and weakness, thus bringing the body back to its optimal healthy and pain-free state.

A physical therapist assesses your posture and body condition and offers you advice on the best type of exercise for your needs.

Rest is different than sleep, provides the body the opportunity to renew and heal.

Forms of deep relaxation such as yoga nidra and meditation together with pranayamas are becoming beneficial for overall body health.
Restorative yoga help to renew mind, body and soul, relieving the effects of chronic stress, stimulating and soothing the organs and permeats the whole body with vital energy-prana.

Every asana (posture) is taught with emphasis on accurate alignment and the flow of breath. It builds strength and flexibility, and brings balance to the nervous, circulatory, and hormonal systems, thus awakening our vital energy (prana). Expect to move with moderate intensity.
