Amrita Yoga has evolved from a Spiritual master known throughout the world as Amma. It is directly formed from Amma’s divine intention to serve the world. The practices were initiated and developed under her guidance.
Amrita Yoga is rooted in the ancient yoga tradition and yet is a completely new approach of understanding yoga practice based on Amma’s core philosophy of “Living from the Heart.” Amma’s spiritual teachings form the foundation of Amrita Yoga.
Dayalu is a student of spiritual leader and humanitarian Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, known throughout the world simply as “Amma”.
He has been teaching Yoga and traditional Thai Massage since 1998 and has studied with many senior Ashtanga, Iyengar and Anusara teachers. Inspired by Amma’s selfless service, he has been living in her ashram in India since 2003, where he teaches meditation (Amma’s IAM Technique) and yoga, being one of the appointed Amrita Yoga teachers.
In Dayalu’s classes, he humbly brings in his personal yoga experience while enthusiastically presenting the unique simplicity of Amrita Yoga.
Now with Amma’s blessings he will conduct the first Amrita Yoga workshop at NYSY.
*All income of this workshop goes to Amma’s charity work
