Georgia is a graduate of the professional dance academy “Rallou Manou”. Right after her graduation, she started performing with contemporary dance groups in different festivals and dance platforms. Her love for contemporary dance, led her in attending seminars with some of the most prominent choreographers of our time, such us Emio Greco and Wim Vandekeybus. She has worked for many years as a dance teacher (ballet+contemporary dance), working with children and adults of a wide range of ages. That previous experience in professional dance, led her in exploring the endless possibilities of the human body through different disciplines. Pursuits that finally brought her to the BASI Pilates system. So, after finishing her 500 hours teacher training education at NYSY Studio in Athens, she became more and more involved with it, as she understood the healing power of Pilates on an extensively “used” body. She has attended workshops with Rael Isacowitz, Sheri Long, Kristi Cooper White, Amit Younger, Ellie Herman, Elizabeth Larkam and others, always trying to keep up with the latest developments of the system.
